Joining the HR SocietyIf you are interested in the mission and activities of the Society please join us. You will be made very welcome. The Society does not administer examinations nor require formal qualifications for membership. The categories of membership are as follows:Personal Membership- for those who are retired, students, self employed or working in an organisation that cannot sponsor membership of external organisations as a matter of policy. Individual Membership- is open to people working in an organisation that will sponsor the application for membership. Corporate Membership- Companies and public authorities may hold corporate membership and nominate up to ten members of staff to represent them.
If you wish to download a membership form please click here. Notes: The mission of the networks is to promote good HR performance, research, policy and practice widely rather than to maximise income. As such the membership fees are shaped to barely cover the low administrative running costs. The HR Society Council is able to consider applications for Personal Membership at the discretionary annual subscription of £35.25 (incl. vat) for a limited number of people with a keen interest in its work who would otherwise be unable to sustain membership. (This is subsidised from a small reserve built up from event income.) The HR Benchmarking Club joining fee is waived for organisations that sign up for three years. * Members who are unable to access .pdf files via email can purchase the papers in hard copy at cost of printing plus P & P.
